This is a 2020 (70 registration) wheelchair adapted vehicle – Peugeot Rifter Allure – with the 1.5 HDi engine and automatic gearbox (which has paddle shift). This is the short wheel base version. It has covered 28,000 miles from new (this is about 4,600 miles per year). It is finished in metallic dark slate grey and comes with full service history. It has had one previous owner and initially was a former Motability Scheme vehicle (so it has the service printout).
The vehicle itself has been converted into a wheelchair adapated vehicle ideal for a variety of wheelchairs or mobility scooters. It is a Horizon conversion by Allied vehicles (who converted this) have lowered the rear floor and provided a manual wheelchair ramp (which does fold-flat providing a flat surface for luggage and shopping when a wheelchair is not in situ). This fold flat ability means the Peugeot is truly multi-purpose. There are electric front belts and rear manual belts (as well as a 3-point safety seatbelt for the wheelchair occupant) which attach to the indicated points on the wheelchair or scooter. We also have a very handy winch to help take some of the weight of the wheelchair and its user. There are 3 seats in this vehicle plus space for the wheelchair.
Other specifications to this vehicle includes a screen display and DAB radio with Bluetooth. The vehicle has electric front and rear windows and electric mirrors. There are two keys plus remote central locking. The vehicle has five doors including an up and over tailgate – the tailgate window will also open separately. There are reverse sensors to help with parking and manoeuvring we well. The rear windows have privacy glass. Don’t forget we also have air conditioning – useful whatever the season. Cruise control is also on this vehicle.

Who can provide wheelchair accessible vehicle insurance?
Specialist insurers such as Fish Insurance cover wheelchair accessible vehicles (call 0333 331 3992). Whoever you choose to insure your vehicle, make sure they know about the adaptations and wheelchair conversion work. If you should encounter any difficulty with insurance you can contact BIBA (British Insurance Brokers’ Association)
Will my wheelchair or mobility scooter fit?
We’ll check it with you. Bring your wheelchair or scooter when you visit, or send us the measurements (seated height, width, length and weight). We’d rather you were sure before you buy, and we can show you how the securing system works too.
Can you arrange finance?
Yes, we act as a credit broker, not a lender, and work with a panel of lenders including Motion Finance, CarFinance 247 and First Response. Finance is subject to status and we may receive commission. How much does a used wheelchair accessible vehicle cost?

What documents come with the vehicle?
We will provide the V5C logbook, the new MOT certificate, service history, service invoice, spare keys and a HPi report if you would like one. Plus the usual warranty information, vehicle handbook and user guidance.
